About this range

The largest part of our catalogue: reproduction body panels for the Land Rover Defender 90 and 110, covering the Tdi (1990–1998), Td5 (1998–2007) and Td4/Puma (2007–2016) eras. Doors, fenders, floors, pillars, sills, roofs, dash panels and complete cab assemblies — in the correct material for each application: aluminium alloy where Solihull used alloy, steel where the structure demands it.

Why Defenders eat panels

Defender outer skins are aluminium alloy, but the structure beneath — bulkhead, door frames, B- and C-pillars, seat box, crossmembers and floor supports — is steel, and it corrodes aggressively. Worse, wherever alloy meets steel, galvanic reaction eats the joint from the inside: door bottoms, fender-to-bulkhead flanges and sill lines fail even when the visible panel looks sound. With Defender production ended and genuine panel prices climbing steeply, quality reproduction panels are how working Defenders and restoration builds stay alive.

Body details changed at each mechanical era: Tdi, Td5 and Td4/Puma trucks differ in bulkhead and dash pressings, fender tops, door construction, seat boxes and floors. Every listing states its era and wheelbase fitment — 90, 110 or both. Front-end and bulkhead panels are usually shared between 90 and 110; rear body, floor, sill and roof parts are wheelbase-specific.

Are these panels aluminium like the originals?

Where Land Rover used Birmabright-type alloy, our panels are aluminium; where the factory part was steel (bulkheads, door frames, some fenders) so is ours. Material is stated on every listing.

Will Td4 panels fit my Tdi?

Often not — eras differ in pressing details. Match the era stated on the listing, or send us your VIN and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
