Warranty

Every panel is warranted to be what we said it is: a correct-profile reproduction, free of manufacturing defects.

What's covered

We warrant panels against manufacturing defects: pressing faults, weld failures in jig-assembled structures, and material defects. If we shipped the wrong part or a panel is outside our quality standards, we replace it or refund it, including freight where the panel is confirmed defective.

Regional OEM variances

Some retro body and chassis parts can differ slightly from country to country: the original manufacturers built these vehicles through different plants, and slight variances between markets are normal. These parts are expected to be DIY-fitted and adjusted as needed — the buyer will need to accommodate slight regional variances, and we do not provide refunds for them.

What's expected of a reproduction panel

Reproduction and OEM service panels alike are restoration parts: trial fitting, preparation and refinishing are part of installation, and minor flange adjustment is normal professional panel work — not a defect. We cover panels that are wrong, not panels that need normal fitting.

What's not covered

Slight regional or plant-to-plant variances described above; corrosion after installation (protection depends on your paint system and seam sealing); damage from incorrect installation, modification or accident; wear items; and panels altered before a defect claim was raised — inspect and trial-fit before cutting, welding or painting.

Making a claim

Contact us with your order number, photos and a description of the issue. Most claims resolve within a week; complex fitment questions may involve our tooling team, because when a genuine profile issue appears, we fix the die as well as your order.
