These terms govern your use of the Reborn Retros website and your purchase of products from Reborn Retros ("we", "us"). By placing an order you accept these terms.
Products
Our products are aftermarket reproduction body panels and related parts for classic vehicles. They are not original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, and are not manufactured, supplied, sponsored, approved or endorsed by Toyota, Land Rover, Ford, Nissan, or any other original vehicle or component manufacturer. Vehicle make, model and trim names are used solely to describe fitment and compatibility; any trademarks referenced remain the property of their respective owners, and no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement is claimed or implied.
Donor vehicle, fitment and road-use compliance
Our panels are supplied for fitment to a donor vehicle that the customer already owns, holds registration for, or is independently and lawfully sourcing; we do not supply, verify, or take responsibility for any vehicle identification number (VIN), chassis number, or registration document, and it is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure they have lawful title to, and use of, an appropriate donor vehicle. Road-safety, roadworthiness, emissions and registration requirements for vehicles fitted with aftermarket or reproduction body panels vary by country and region and change over time. It is the customer's sole and non-delegable responsibility to determine and comply with all such requirements in the jurisdiction where the vehicle will be operated, and to obtain any inspection, certification or sign-off — including from a qualified automotive engineer or equivalent certifying authority — required before the vehicle is used on public roads. We make no representation, warranty or certification, express or implied, that any product is roadworthy, compliant, or fit for road use in any specific jurisdiction.
Orders and pricing
All prices are in the currency shown at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, and to cancel and refund any order we cannot fulfil. Pre-order items ship on the timeline stated on the product page.
Fitment responsibility
Fitment information is provided in good faith and to the best of our knowledge. It remains the buyer's responsibility to confirm suitability for their specific vehicle before installation, and to trial-fit panels before preparation or paint. Installation of structural panels should be performed by competent persons; incorrectly installed structural components can affect vehicle safety.
Shipping, risk and title
Risk in the goods passes on delivery. Delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Import duties and taxes are the recipient's responsibility unless stated otherwise at checkout. Transit damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery as described on our Shipping page.
Returns and warranty
Returns are accepted as described on our Returns page, including its 24-hour issue-reporting and evidence requirements. Products are warranted as described on our Warranty page.
Limitation of liability and indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any product or these terms is limited to the replacement or refund of the product purchased; (b) we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from the installation, modification, use or registration of a product, including loss arising from failure to obtain required inspections, certifications or regulatory approvals; and (c) you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, fine, penalty, or proceeding brought by any regulatory authority, government body, or third party (including any original vehicle or component manufacturer) arising from your use, installation, representation, resale, or registration of our products in a manner inconsistent with these terms or with applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including under the Australian Consumer Law and equivalent consumer-protection laws in other jurisdictions.
Regulatory and intellectual property compliance
You agree not to represent, market, resell, or install our products in any way that suggests they are genuine OEM parts, or that misleads any regulatory authority, insurer, or third party as to their origin or certification status. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where we reasonably believe the products will be used in a manner that could expose us, our suppliers, or any third party to legal or regulatory risk.
Intellectual property
Website content, product photography and copy are our property and may not be reproduced without permission.
General
These terms may be updated from time to time; the version published at the time of your order applies. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
This page is a general template and should be reviewed by your legal adviser before launch, particularly given international sales and varying road-safety, product-liability and consumer-protection laws by jurisdiction.
