One platform, two trucks

The 40-Series shares its front sheet metal, windscreen frame, firewall and much of its cab structure across FJ40 and FJ45 (and the BJ/HJ diesel siblings). Panels forward of the doors generally interchange; everything behind the doors is model-specific. Our listings tag shared pressings for both models so you can't order the wrong one by browsing the right collection.

Where 40-Series bodies rust

Quarter panels and lower corners, sills and floor braces, tailgate skins, fender aprons, firewall footwells, and on pickups the bed and cab back panel. Toyota never galvanised these bodies, so even dry-climate trucks carry corrosion where mud packed between body and chassis outriggers. Every one of those panels is reproduced in this range, pressed to factory profiles in automotive-grade steel.

Which 40-Series panels interchange between FJ40 and FJ45?
